本地设计 LANDING DESIGN，是在中国经济整体转型升级、城市化进程逐步推进、全球经济日益一体化的时代背景下注册创建的专业设计机构。

本地设计 LANDING DESIGN 对当代建筑消费主义语境下的流行符号以及对表面形式风格的盲目追求持批判态度。本地，是相对于国际化、全球化的逆向称谓，这一称谓在一定层面上表明了本地设计 LANDING DESIGN 设计工作的立足点，即“此时此地”。设计需要面对问题，由于“此时此地”的差异，问题的表现方式也不一样，这就需要以一种更加理性、现实的工作态度在实践过程中从更加广义的层面进行感知、理解并加以研究。在各种显性与隐性、硬性与非硬性条件制约的框架下，充分挖掘并整合各种有利要素，通过设计手段响应问题、解决问题，形成一套完整的内在的生成逻辑，并以此贯穿于以“此时此地”为立足点、以解决问题为主线、以实际建造为导向的全周期工作历程，最终营造出特定条件下的特定建筑与景观。

运用适宜的建造技术及选用恰当的建筑材料，同时关注实际建造的构造逻辑与物理表现，通过行之有效的细部处理方法来实现建筑的外与内、总体与局部的持续贯彻，并以此诠释建筑的丰富内涵，呈现专业性与人文性有机结合的设计作品，这也是本地设计 LANDING DESIGN 另外一个很重要的设计理念。

当下中国设计行业正面临转型升级的重要时期，快速而粗糙的批量化生产必将难以为继，也显然不是理想选择。本地设计 LANDING DESIGN 认为有必要在尽可能广的专业领域坚持设计的理想状态，携手相关各方最大程度呈现设计作品的高品质，并致力于塑造中国建筑的当代气质及探索出一条契合中国建筑未来发展方向的建筑实践之路。

Landing Design, formerly known as HK Symbol Architects, was founded in Hong Kong in 2013. It is registered as a professional design agency in the context of China's overall transformation and upgrading of the economy, the gradual advancement of urbanization and the growing integration of the global economy.

Landing Design is critical of popular symbols in the context of contemporary architectural consumerism and the blind pursuit of superficial forms. Local, relative to the international, global reverse title, this title at a certain level that Landing Design design work standpoint, named "here and now." Design needs to face the problem, because "here and now" differences, the performance of the problem is not the same, which requires a more rational and realistic attitude to face "here and now" problem, and also requires  a broader perspective of perception, understanding and research  in the course of practice.Under a variety of explicit or implicit, rigid or non-rigid condition constraints framework, fully mining and integration of various favorable elements, through the design of means to respond to problems, solve the problem, the formation of a complete set of inherent generation logic, Throughout the "place here" as a foothold to solve the problem as the main line, to the actual construction-oriented cycle of work, and ultimately create the specific architecture and landscape  under a specific condition .

The use of appropriate construction technology and the selection of appropriate building materials, while concerned about  the construction logic of the actual construction and physical performance, through the practice of an effective detailed treatment approach to achieve outside the building and the overall and partial continuous implementation, and this interpretation the rich connotation of architecture, showing professional and humane organic combination of design work, which is the another very important design concept of  Landing Design.

Nowdays, the Chinese design industry is facing an important period of transformation and upgrading, fast and rough batch production will be difficult to sustain, and that is obviously not the ideal choice.  Landing Design believes that it is necessary to adhere to the ideal state of design in a range of fields as wide  as possible, and to work with the parties concerned to show the highest quality of the design works , and to cultivate the contemporary temperament of Chinese architecture, and walk out a road in line with the direction of the development of Chinese architecture.
